XRP: Super Cycle? Seriously?

Oh, great. Another “super cycle” prediction. 🙄 As if crypto isn’t confusing enough. Now everyone’s talking about XRP being in some extended boom period? Please. I’ve seen more reliable forecasts from my deli guy.

This SuperTrend Thing…It’s a Mess

So, this analyst, Ali Martinez-very impressive name, I’m sure-posts this chart on X (formerly Twitter, can we please just pick a name?). He’s “hearing” about this super cycle. Hearing? Like it’s whispered on the wind? What is this, a fortune cookie? 🍪

And then you’ve got this guy, YoungHoon Kim, claims he has the “world’s highest IQ.” Okay, brilliant. Does that IQ tell you whether or not XRP is going to go up or down? Because that’s the information we actually need. Not your Mensa membership.

But get this. While everyone’s busy predicting riches, Martinez’s chart shows this “SuperTrend” thing – some indicator only people with a lot of time on their hands would bother with – is actually giving a sell signal. A sell signal! In the middle of a “super cycle”? It’s just…inconsistent. It’s maddening, frankly.

Apparently, this “SuperTrend” – and honestly, the name alone is suspicious – is just a line. A line! And if the price is above the line, it’s good. Below the line, it’s bad. It’s like someone just invented a new way to state the obvious. And it involves something called “Average True Range,” which sounds entirely too complicated for a Friday.

The chart shows XRP was above this line in 2025. Fine. Then it wasn’t. Now it isn’t. So, what are we supposed to do with this information? It’s just…sitting there, under the line. Very judgmental line, if you ask me. 🤨

I mean, will it hold? Will it not? Who knows! It’s crypto. It’s designed to give you anxiety.

And Solana, of course, is doing the opposite. Because why not complicate things further? Now that’s bullish. Always something, isn’t it? 🤦

The Price of XRP (Don’t Ask)

XRP is down 2%? Wonderful. Just wonderful. Of course it is. After all this talk of “super cycles,” it’s down. It’s always down. Everything’s always going the wrong way. At this point, I just expect disappointment. It’s less stressful. It’s currently at $2.07. Which, honestly, is just a number. A meaningless number.
